Children Return to School
Thanks to the Hope Project, great changes have taken place in a western country school.
This school used to be called Lijiazhuang School. Most of its pupils left school because their families were too poor to pay for their education. The only unsafe house had to be used as their classroom. And all the teachers shared one workroom. The playground was nothing but an open land.
Things are different now. All the children who left school have come to continue their studies. In the school yard stands a two-storeyed teaching building. There are rooms for music, art and computer teaching. The school is well equipped with sports facilities.
The school benefits from the Hope Project a great deal. For this reason, it is renamed Hope School.
The Hope Project is of great importance to our country. I hope that with help more and more children can get the opportunity to be educated. And I wish more and more people would offer to support the project.

The mouse is a most effective device used by people to communicate with a computer．
For most people, it’s almost impossible to operate a computer without a mouse, let alone surf the Internet. A well-chosen mouse is really handy, flexible and convenient in controlling the screen. With the functions of inserting, deleting, moving and copying, it enables us to edit test, browse web page and download what we want. It can even bring us a flood of music, movies and PC games. Just imagine, all this can be done with a cute mouse.
A convenient tool can certainly make our work easier, but it doesn’t always help in a positive way. Too much ready information on our fingertips leaves little room for knowledge pursuing. Too many ready answers make us less excited in finding truth. Relying too much on mouse clicking makes us lazier and less creative both mentally and physically.

But recently some students bring their mobile phones to the classroom and we often hear the ring of mobile phones. To help the classroom quiet, those with mobile phones should not talk on the phone or send short messages. They should turn them off. We are supposed to concentrate on our studies.

I’m writing to tell you about the discussion we’ve had about whether a mobile phone should be brought to school.
To tell you the truth, the students in our class have different opinions.About 70% of the students think that we shouldn’t bring  mobile phones to school. Because with them we may not fix our attention to the lessons. If the phone is not turned off by chance and the ringing will destroy the class. Furthermore, using mobile phones will add to our parents’ economic burdens. However,about 30% of the students think we can bring phones to school on condition that we turned off them in class.
