During approach phase, use auto throttle to avoid EEC logic and reset VSV position, lower EGT in case of EGT OVER LIMIT warning.

During approach or aircraft is in a idle run, if EGT is reaching 600°C, it is recommended to reduce or turn off engine bleed.
C.
When a reducing of engine bleed is needed, switch the pack valve from AUTO (100%) to LO (80%), and then EGT can reduce 5-10°C.
D.
When a close of engine bleed is needed, directly use APU bleed instead of engine bleed then EGT can reduce 30°C.
