Elvis Aaron Presley was born in a two-room house in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935. His (21) brother, Jessie Garcon, died at birth. This left Elvis to grow up as an only child. He and his parents moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1948. Elvis (22) from Hums High School in Memphis in 1953.
