One morning during breakfast, Robert was reading a letter. "Look, dear," he said to his wife Mary, "someone sent these two tickets for the play this evening. "There’s a note in the envelope, but it says: ’Can you guess who sent these two tickets to you’" "Well, never mind," said Mary, "I expect one of our friends wants to give us a surprise."
After dinner that evening, Robert and Mary put on their best clothes and went to the play. They had a wonderful evening and came home very grateful (感激) to the unknown friend who had given them the tickets.
